In this tyre comparison, we will focus on two popular all-season tyres: The Dunlop Sport All Season and the Continental AllSeasonContact. Both models are considered all-around tyres, with the Dunlop model manufactured in France and the Continental tyres made across Slovakia, Czech Republic, and France

Let's start with the Dunlop Sport All Season. In our comprehensive tests, we rated it at 65%. During the 'Autoklub ČR' and 'Autobild' tests, the Dunlop tyre ranked 7/10 and 6/32 respectively. Its best features are its dry handling, comfort, wet circle cornering and aquaplaning. However, according to Autobild 2022's summary, the tyre understeers during snow handling and has a slightly prolonged dry braking distance.

Moving on to the Continental AllSeasonContact - a higher-rated tyre in our tests, securing a rating of 76%. In the 'Autoklub ČR' and 'Autobild' tests, it managed to land at 2/10 and 10/32 places respectively. The tyre shone in a multitude of features, namely comfort, aquaplaning, dry handling and especially snow-related features - snow braking and cornering. The Autobild 2022 summary praised its excellent winter qualities, stable wet handling and low rolling resistance. Yet, it pointed out that the tyre has understeering behaviour and prolonged dry braking distance while also having slightly less mileage and economic efficiency.

Both tyres are made by reputable Dunlop and Continental manufacturers respectively, and neither has had a newer model to replace them.

Summing up, the Dunlop Sport All Season offers good all-around performance, with certain limitations in snow handling and dry braking. On the contrary, Continental AllSeasonContact shines in a range of conditions, especially during the snowy season, but with a slight shortcoming in dry braking distance and economic efficiency. Overall, our results, backed by multiple tests, suggest the Continental tyre slightly outperforms the Dunlop model.
