When weighing the benefits between the Kleber Dynaxer HP4 and the BFGoodrich Advantage, it's clear these summer tyres offer unique strengths and corresponding weaknesses.

The Kleber Dynaxer HP4, by Kleber, scored slightly higher in our internal rating system at 82%. In the Autobild test, the tyre positioned 14th out of 53 tested tyres. While the top features of this model are comfort and exterior noise, it performs poorly in wet conditions as stated by Autobild 2024. Furthermore, this tyres is weaker when it comes to grip on wet surfaces and its response to steering on a dry track can be noticeably delayed.

The BFGoodrich Advantage, by BFGoodrich is another summer tyre option. With a rating of 76%, it came in 18th place in the Autobild test. The strength of this tyre appears to be in the comfort and dry handling, even offering dynamic dry handling and a reduced rolling resistance. However, BFGoodrich Advantage tends to understeer in wet conditions and has a comparatively longer braking distance when exposed to moisture.

In the ADAC test of 50 tyres, the Kleber Dynaxer HP4 secured the 12th position, once again outperforming the BFGoodrich Advantage which came in at the 21st position.

Neither tyres have been replaced with a newer model. Given their performances in our tests and various others, Kleber Dynaxer HP4 appears to be the overall better performing tyre, yet the BFGoodrich Advantage certainly has its advantages and can be a cost-effective option given its reduced rolling resistance and lower price. However, for drivers regularly exposed to wet driving conditions, both tyres may not provide the best solution for handling and safety.
