Vredestein ULTRAC


Competing against the Hankook Ventus Prime 4 is the Vredestein ULTRAC, featuring excellent aquaplaning resistance and good dry braking performance. The tyre's handling abilities in wet conditions are praised by many experts. However, the high rolling resistance and expected short lifespan are pointed out as significant downsides. A similar pattern emerges in the Aftonbladet test with the Hankook and Vredestein securing the sixth and seventh places respectively out of 10 tyres in total. However, in ADAC's test, the Hankook gets the eighth position while the Vredestein unfortunately falls into the last place among 16 tyres.

Its dynamic handling on both wet and dry road surfaces, short braking distances, and low rolling resistance make it a reliable choice for many drivers.
