Comparing the Giti Gitisynergy H2 and the Firestone Roadhawk is essential to know which tyre offers the best performance, especially in summer conditions. According to our ratings, the Firestone Roadhawk scored significantly better than the Giti Gitisynergy H2, with a rating of 59%.
Firestone Roadhawk is noted for its good performance on dry roads and its relative low wear, as evidenced in Autobild and ADAC tests. However, its performance on wet roads is lacking, and it's the loudest tyre in the test. Despite these weaknesses, it performed better than the Giti Gitisynergy H2 tyre in an Autobild test, placing 12th out of 55 tyres. In the ADAC test, it acquired the 9th position of 16 tyres and showed strong points in dry braking and wet circle cornering.
You can visit the Firestone manufacturer site for more details on the Roadhawk and other tyres.
The Giti Gitisynergy H2, on the other hand, is appreciated for its safe wet handling, moderate price, and short dry braking distance. The tyre understeers on a dry track and has a very high rolling resistance, however. Despite these drawbacks, it was ranked 17th out of 55 in the Autobild test and proved its prowess in dry braking by earning 6th place out of 16 in the ADAC test.
Unfortunately, there is no newer tyre that has replaced either of these models.
Verdict: our reviews and test results suggest that for dry conditions, the Firestone Roadhawk may offer better performance, while the Giti Gitisynergy H2 seems to have better handling in the wet. It's always essential to choose a tyre according to your individual needs and the specific conditions you tend to drive in.
