The Bridgestone Potenza S001 and the Continental PremiumContact 6 are both high-quality summer tyres, although there are some significant characteristics that set them apart based on various test results. These tests provide a clear view regarding their respective strengths and weaknesses, contributing to the overall verdict of each tyre.

The Bridgestone Potenza S001 showed decent performance in tests carried out by Autobild and ADAC. In a mutual test of 50 tyres by Autobild, it held a respectable 3rd position, outshining the Continental PremiumContact 6 which was right behind in the 4th position. Its strength was particularly seen in 'aquaplaning - cross', further demonstrating its high grip and stability in challenging wet conditions.

However, the Bridgestone Potenza S001 tyre has been outperformed by its competitor, the Continental PremiumContact 6, in several aspects. The PremiumContact 6 not only excelled in dry handling, mileage, and price/value, but also dominated in a mutual test by ADAC, taking the top spot among 16 tyres tested.
