Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6
This is the latest high‑performance (UHP) Eagle F1 generation and replaces the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5 (and earlier Asymmetric 3). It features consistently strong showings in 2025 tests: Tyre Reviews rated it “highly recommended,” Autobild placed it at the top in two size tests (calling it “příkladné”/exemplary) and praised balanced behaviour across surfaces, dynamic cornering, short braking distances and surprisingly good off‑road capability for the category. Another Autobild test highlighted very sporty handling, direct progressive steering, good aquaplaning reserves and low road noise, with a minor drawback of only middling wet braking in one size. The model score in our dataset is 91 and production for this range includes Germany — a clear choice if you prioritise steering precision and overall performance.

Goodyear EfficientGrip 2 SUV
The EfficientGrip 2 SUV is the successor to the earlier EfficientGrip SUV and is consistently one of Goodyear’s strongest SUV summer tyres in recent tests. Autobild repeatedly ranked it “exemplary,” noting balanced, secure handling on all surfaces, strong aquaplaning resistance, short wet braking distances, good off‑road capability and comfortable ride — and singled it out for very good mileage/rolling resistance in cost comparisons. Tyre Reviews also marked it “very recommended.” In our dataset it scores 92 and is manufactured in Slovenia for many sizes. This tyre is a good match for SUV drivers looking for a mix of safety in wet conditions, durability and comfort.

Goodyear EfficientGrip/Efficient Grip Performance 2
The Performance 2 is the successor to the original Efficient Grip Performance and appears under slightly different name spellings across test reports; it has a mix of results across independent test houses. Recent tests (Motor, Automotorsport, ACE, Autobild and others) commonly note very good wet‑weather precision and braking — Automotorsport described “good braking and very high driving precision and safety on wet roads.” Weaknesses reported in some tests include longer dry braking distances and somewhat higher rolling resistance. Overall ratings in our data are lower than the SUV or UHP ranges (model score ~78) and production locations include Poland and Germany; it is also listed as original equipment on some vehicles (for example Renault Mégane E‑TECH in specific sizes). This tyre is suitable when wet grip and all‑round predictable handling are priorities, but if lowest rolling resistance or top dry braking are critical, consider alternatives.
