Comparison: Vredestein Ultrac Vorti vs. Yokohama Advan Sport V105 vs. Toyo Proxes T1 Sport

Today we are comparing two high-end summer tyres, the Vredestein Ultrac Vorti and the Yokohama Advan Sport V105. Both tyres are well-regarded in the industry, manufactured by reputable companies, Vredestein and Yokohama.
The Vredestein Ultrac Vorti is made in the Netherlands and stands out thanks to its excellent wet performance. In Autobild's tests, it achieved a top 8 placement out of 50 tyres tested, excelling particularly in aquaplaning - cross, wet braking, wet handling, and wet side guide. In addition, it secured a respectable 4th place out of 16 in the ADAC tests and 5th place out of 6 in the Sportscars tests. Despite being a solid all-rounder, this model has not been replaced with a newer model as of yet.
On the other side of the ring, we have the Yokohama Advan Sport V105. Although the details on its production are not available, it is noteworthy in its own right. In a total of 50 tyres tested by Autobild, the Yokohama Advan Sport V105 secured 26th place. However, it significantly outperformed Vredestein Ultrac Vorti in the Sportscars' tests, securing 4th position out of 6. It also clinched 8th place in the ADAC tests from a total of 16 tyres. This model has not been replaced with a newer model so far.

It also wins in terms of consistent performance across different tests. However, the Yokohama Advan Sport V105 managed to beat Vredestein Ultrac Vorti in SportsCars rankings, indicating that it might be more suitable for sporty, performance-oriented driving.
In conclusion, both tyres are strong contenders with their unique strengths, catering to different driving situations and preferences. However, on average, Vredestein Ultrac Vorti tends to perform better overall according to these test results.
