The Vredestein Quatrac Pro, a Hungarian-manufactured tyre, has received an overall rating of 62%. Noteworthy features include its exterior noise, snow braking abilities, wet and dry handling, along with exceptional wet circle cornering capability. However, some tests revealed issues with its snow handling and aquaplaning qualities. The tyre received 6th place out of 10 in an Autobild test. Despite this, these tyres are an affordable option offering commendable performances on both wet and dry surfaces. The Vredestein Quatrac Pro+ tyre has replaced the previous model.

Meanwhile, the GoodYear Vector 4Seasons SUV Gen-3, scored considerably higher in our rating with a total 86%. The tire’s strengths lie in comfort, snow braking and traction, wet handling, and most noticeably its prowess in aquaplaning resistance. These features helped it secure 3rd place in the Autobild test, outranking the Vredestein Quatrac Pro. However, it is worth noting that there were slightly elongated braking ways on dry surfaces in some tests. GoodYear is yet to launch any new versions of this tyre model.

In a separate Gute-Fahrt test, the Vredestein Quatrac Pro placed 5th, and the Goodyear tyre again outshone it by earning the 1st place. Hence, overall test results suggest the GoodYear Vector 4Seasons SUV Gen-3 might be a better investment for your SUV, providing balanced performance and superior comfort.
