While these features mark it out as a strong competitor, our tests detected some weaknesses in its performance on wet surfaces, which influences its overall score.

Despite this, the tyre shows impressive strength in its environmental performance and longevity. The Fulda EcoControl HP2 earns a rating of 71% on our tests. It ranks 20th among 53 tyres in the AutoBild test and secures an 8th spot in the 15-tyre ADAC test.

In conclusion, both these tyres have their distinct strengths and weaknesses. If wet surface performance and fuel efficiency are high on your priority list, then Semperit Speed-Life 3 is an ideal option. However, if you value quiet operation, excelling in cross aquaplaning, and environmental friendly credentials, then the Fulda EcoControl HP2 is a viable contender.
