In our latest review, we are comparing two popular summer tyres: the Michelin Primacy 3 and Vredestein Ultrac Satin. The Michelin Primacy 3, produced by pioneering tyre manufacturer Michelin, has since been replaced by the newer model, Michelin Primacy 4. On the other hand, the Vredestein Ultrac Satin is manufactured by Dutch company Vredestein and hasn't yet been replaced by a newer tyre.
Michelin Primacy 3
A regular in many tests and tyre rankings, the Michelin Primacy 3 stands out for its performance, particularly in tests conducted by Autozeitung where it grabbed the number one spot out of 10 tyres tested. However, it also features among the top 10 in the ACE and Autobild tests. Despite its consistent performance, Michelin has replaced this model with the Michelin Primacy 4.
Vredestein Ultrac Satin
Contrary to the Michelin Primacy 3, the Vredestein Ultrac Satin didn't fare as well in several tests. In tests conducted by Autozeitung, the Ultrac Satin was placed ninth out of 10, and in the Autobild test it was placed 12th out of 52 tyres. Meanwhile, it landed in the last position in the ACE tests. Nevertheless, it was praised for its dry driving behaviour and dry handling.

Michelin Primacy 3
offers a more consistently high performance across various tests compared to the Vredestein Ultrac Satin. Its replacement, the Michelin Primacy 4, is expected to maintain or even surpass this performance.On the other hand, the
