In this comparison, we will focus on two summer tyres: the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 and the Nexen N fera Sport. The Michelin Pilot Sport 4 is a popular tyre known for its performance and quality, while the Nexen N fera Sport is an UHP tyre recognized for its value for money. The Nexen N fera Sport came at the ninth position, receiving praise for its good aquaplaning prevention, reliable braking on wet roads, comfort, and low noise levels. However, the tyre's unsporty performance and lack of side grip on wet roads were criticized.


The Michelin Pilot Sport 4 scored fourth place out of 10 tyres in the Autozeitung test, performing exceptionally in dry braking. However, the Nexen N fera Sport attained the last position, with a notable advantage in exterior noise. In the ADAC test, the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 ranked second out of 16 tyres and the Nexen N fera Sport secured fifth place, both tyres performing well in mileage.


Verdict
In summary, the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 shines in terms of its wet and dry handling, aquaplaning, and comfort, making it an excellent choice for premium summer tyres. However, it comes with a higher price tag. Conversely, the Nexen N fera Sport is a commendable alternative for those seeking good value for their money, as it provides a decent performance in aquaplaning prevention, exterior noise, and wet braking.
