The following is a comparative analysis of two tyres; the Imperial EcoDriver 5 and the Uniroyal RainSport 5. While both of these models are summer tyres, they have shown different strengths and weaknesses in several tests.

The Imperial EcoDriver 5 has not been replaced by a newer model. It is a basic summer tyre that has underperformed in tyre tests when compared to other models. Its performance across two notable tests, Autobild and Autoklub, placed it fairly low in the ranks. It came in at position 32 out of 53 in the Autobild test and at position 17 out of 19 in the Autoklub test. These results underline that this tyre might not provide the best experience in terms of performance.

The Uniroyal RainSport 5, manufactured by Uniroyal, is of the UHP subtype. Like the Imperial EcoDriver 5, it also hasn't seen a newer model replace it. However, it's performance in similar tests was markedly better. Autobild's test ranked it at position 19 out of 53 demonstrating a more satisfactory performance. An even more impressive performance was evident in the Autoklub test where it came in at position 5 out of 19.

The Uniroyal RainSport 5 also showed a clear strength in aquaplaning tests. It showcased excellent aquaplaning qualities across all tests and safe wet handling, giving it an upper hand over the Imperial EcoDriver 5. On the downside, it exhibited a soft feeling in dry conditions, leading to limited lateral control.

In conclusion, based on the test data, the Uniroyal RainSport 5 comes out as the preferable option, mainly for its superior performance, especially in wet conditions. While it does fall short in dry conditions, it still outperforms the Imperial EcoDriver 5 overall. The Imperial EcoDriver 5's underperformance in all tests indicates room for significant improvements.
