Our comparison brings two top-rated summer tyres head to head: the Hankook Ventus S1 Evo 2 K117 and the Falken Azenis FK510.
Regarding Hankook Ventus S1 Evo 2 K117, although its overall performance rating on our site is not available, its performance in various tyre tests gives us a clear picture. Hankook's tyre stood out for its reduced exterior noise and lower rolling resistance according to Autobild and also portrayed a remarkable dry driving behaviour according to the ACE test. The Ventus S1 Evo 2 K117 secured a range of positions from 2nd to 9th in different tests, with an upper hand in tests by Autobild, ACE, Automotorsport, and Sportscars.
On the flip side, the Falken Azenis FK510 made in Japan and Turkey, has a significant 71% rating on our site. It was replaced by the Falken Azenis FK520.
