Tested by Autozeitung and Autobild, it excelled in dry braking and handling, earning a second position out of 50 tyres in the Autobild test. In other tests, it showed excellence in dry driving behavior and lowering exterior noise, which solidified it as a top-tier competitor. Despite these strengths, it fell behind in the ADAC test, where it ranked 14th out of 16. It received an overall rating of 72% from our team. However, it's worth noting, this model has been replaced by the Hankook Ventus Prime 4.

On the other hand, the Dunlop Sport BluResponse stood strong in various areas. It showcased strengths in safety and wet braking, as found in the ADAC test where it ranked 6th out of 16. The tyre also impressed with its comfort in the Autobild test, earning a sixth position out of 50. Furthermore, in the ACE test, it excelled in handling both aquaplaning - cross and longitudinal - as well as dry and wet handling. It did, however, lag slightly in the Autozeitung test where it secured an 8th position. Nevertheless, the tyre was deemed superior with an overall rating of 83% by our team.

In comparing these two exceptional tyres, while the Hankook Ventus Prime3 K125 provides excellent dry handling and braking, it fell short in test ranking against the Dunlop Sport BluResponse, which shines in safety, comfort, and handling. Therefore, based on test results and ratings, the Dunlop Sport BluResponse emerges as the top performer between these two summer tyres.

When considering the replacement of the Hankook Ventus Prime3 K125 with the Ventus Prime 4, it's advisable to compare the new model's features and test results for a more updated purchasing decision.
