Nevertheless, it does not completely balance performance, showing weaknesses in wet condition tests. Despite these, the Fulda EcoControl HP2 has been praised for its good environmental efficiency and longevity.

Nokian WetProof

obtains a slightly higher overall rating of 74%. It performs well on both dry and wet roads and is efficient, but has been criticized for its environmental impact and its longevity. This tyre also shows slight weaknesses in terms of sustainability. Its best features are its low noise and wet circle cornering.

In the ADAC mutual test, the Fulda EcoControl HP2 came 8th out of 15, while the Nokian WetProof was just behind in 11th position. On the other hand, in a comprehensive test by Autobild, the Nokian WetProof significantly outperformed the Fulda EcoControl HP2, finishing 6th out of 53, compared to the latter's 20th position.
