Comparison: Continental PremiumContact 6 vs. Barum Bravuris 5 HM vs. Pirelli Cinturato P7 C2 vs. Bridgestone Turanza T005

The following text details a comparison between the Continental PremiumContact 6 and Barum Bravuris 5 HM tyres, providing an overall summary based on test results from ADAC and Autobild.

Continental's model, PremiumContact 6, is a touring tyre designed for summer use, manufactured in Slovakia, Germany and Czech Republic. It scored impressively in our tests, achieving a rating of 78%. It excelled in wet handling and wet circle cornering, securing the 2nd position out of 17 tyres in ADAC's test. Autobild's assessment praised the tyre for its balance and drive safety receiving top marks for dry and wet surface performance and high mileage. However, it seems to lag efficiency-wise. The Continental PremiumContact 6 has been replaced by Continental PremiumContact 7.

In contrast, the Barum Bravuris 5 HM, another summer tyre is not up to the mark, scoring a mere 29% in our tests. This tyre failed to make a mark in any particular category and landed 15th in ADAC's 17 tyre test. In Autobild's 50 tyre test, it managed a low 42nd position. Nonetheless, this model has been succeeded by the Barum Bravuris 6.

When it comes to overall performance and test results, the Continental PremiumContact 6 clearly outperforms Barum Bravuris 5 HM. It boasts stronger wet and dry surface performance, demonstrating a balanced, safe driving experience and good value for price due to its high mileage. The Barum lacks the standout features of Continental's tyre and placed consistently lower in the tests across various categories.

In conclusion, based on the test results, the Continental PremiumContact 6 is a strong contender for those seeking reliable and balanced performance in a summer tyre. It stands out as the clear winner in comparison to the Barum Bravuris 5 HM. However, for both these models, the successors, Continental PremiumContact 7 and Barum Bravuris 6, are worth exploring for their further improvements and features.
