The Bridgestone Potenza Sport, produced in PL and HU, is a UUHP (Ultra High Performance) summer tyre with an overall rating of 89%. According to the Autobild, this tyre displayed impressive wet circle cornering, wet braking, dry braking, and outstanding resistance to longitudinal aquaplaning. In the autobild 2024, the Potenza Sport was applauded for its exceptional handling qualities on wet surfaces, high grip level on both wet and dry tracks, direct steering response, and short wet braking distances. Despite its top-grade performance, the tyre did show slightly increased rolling noise.


On the other hand, Continental's PremiumContact 7, a touring summer tyre manufactured in FR, SK, DE, and CZ, boasts a rating of 99%. In multiple tests, the PremiumContact 7 demonstrated superior rolling resistance and longitudinal aquaplaning resistance and excellent performance in wet circle cornering, wet and dry braking. The autobild 2024 highlighted the tyre's high-performance potential, dynamic dry handling, precise steering with good feedback, and its great safety reserves during aquaplaning. Despite these strengths, the tyre was noted for its high price level.


When comparing test results, Bridgestone Potenza Sport outperformed in the Autobild and Autozeitung test, securing 1st and 3rd places respectively. Conversely, Continental's PremiumContact 7 earned 2nd place in the same tests.
