Bridgestone Potenza S001 showed excellent performance in resisting aquaplaning, especially in cross directions. However, one may argue that the tyre did not perform as expected based on its ranking.

Meanwhile, the Kumho Ecsta PS71 shows an outstanding performance by resisting aquaplaning in both cross and longitudinal directions. This feature, along with its ranked low rolling resistance makes it a strong contender, despite its position in the rankings.

In summary, both tyres have their unique strengths. The Bridgestone Potenza S001 stands out for its resistance against aquaplaning, while the Kumho Ecsta PS71 shines with its low rolling resistance and superior handling in aquaplaning situations. Therefore, the choice between the two would depend on your specific driving conditions and requirements.
