Its strengths lie in its good performance under dry conditions, with excellent dry braking and handling properties. This tyre has also been replaced by the Hankook Ventus Prime 4, an even newer model that promises to maintain the same quality standards.

However, the Yokohama Bluearth AE-50 lags behind in terms of test performance and user rating. The primary strength that stood out in the tests was its dry steering responsiveness, which although is a crucial aspect, might not be enough to compensate for the overall performance. There is no information regarding a replacement for this model, which could be interpreted that this model is seen as fulfilling Yokohama's offering in this range.
