On the other hand, Avon ZV7 was appreciated for being relatively economical, but its performance was deemed unbalanced. The tyre exhibited weaknesses on dry surfaces, in addition to a poor environmental balance and very low mileage. Furthermore, it showed high wear and tear, and poor sustainability performance.

In general, the Viking Protech NewGen is a better choice if performance is a priority. It ranked consistently higher in the tests and showcased better reliability and balance. Still, it's worth mentioning that despite its relatively low mileage, the Avon ZV7 is a good choice for fuel-conscious buyers due to its economical nature.
