Here we have a comparison of two summer tyres, Semperit Comfort-Life 2 and Goodyear Efficient Grip Performance, two models produced by renowned tyre manufacturers, Semperit and Goodyear.

The Semperit Comfort-Life 2, developed by Semperit, didn't score any points in our rating system. Nonetheless, according to ADAC and Autobild tyre tests, it shows significant strengths in aquaplaning, both cross and longitudinal. However, it was placed 14th and 35th out of 16 and 51 tyres in the ADAC and Autobild tests respectively. No successor has replaced this tyre as of now.

The Goodyear Efficient Grip Performance, by the globally renowned Goodyear, outshines the former with a significantly higher rating score of 43%. For this particular model, notable strengths include cross aquaplaning, dry driving behavior, and wet circle cornering according to the ADAC tyre test. These attributes have positioned it in 4th place in the ADAC test and 11th in the Autobild test, amongst a pool of 16 and 51 different tyres respectively. Also, it's worth stating that this model has been superseded by its upgrade - the Goodyear Efficient Grip Performance 2.

In conclusion, if the safest grip on both wet and dry surfaces is a priority, the Goodyear Efficient Grip Performance is the better option. The overall performance and test results lean noticeably towards this highly rated tyre from Goodyear, showing an increased overall performance and a higher rating amongst consumers. Although the Semperit Comfort-Life 2 has its merits, it lags behind in comparative tests, making the Goodyear model the preferred choice for the most reliable and efficient summer tyre.
