Comparison: Sava Intensa HP2 vs. Kleber Dynaxer HP4 vs. Fulda EcoControl HP2

Comparative analysis of two popular tyre brands, the Sava Intensa HP2 and Kleber Dynaxer HP4, reveals stark differences in their performance, with the latter taking lead in several tests conducted under different conditions and ratings.

The Sava Intensa HP2 succeeds its predecessor, the Sava Intensa HP, standing at a 67% rating according to our evaluation. However, the testing results paint a less than ideal performance. In the Autobild test, the Sava Intensa HP2 managed only a 22nd position out of 53 tyres. ADAC test further cemented its shortcomings, as the tyre managed to take the 12th position out of 18. The test summary from autobild 2024 highlighted its significant weaknesses, particularly on dry and wet surfaces, with noticeable deficiencies in its safety and environmental footprint. Although the tyre is acclaimed for its efficiency and lightweight construction, it appears to have room for improvement.

On the other hand, the Kleber Dynaxer HP4, manufactured by Kleber, managed to secure better results in mutual tests. Scoring a commendable 76% on our rating scale, it took a 14th spot out of 53 in the Autobild test and a 10th position out of 18 in the ADAC test. The HP4 shines in various areas such as comfort, exterior noise reduction, environmental balance, mileage, and abrasion efficiency, although it presented some weaknesses on wet roads.

The autobild 2022 test summary revealed the Kleber Dynaxer HP4’s excellent aquaplaning properties, short braking distances on wet and dry conditions, comfortable ride and low external noise level. However, there were some critiques regarding its grip on wet surfaces and a slightly delayed steering response.

In conclusion, while both tyres hold their unique advantages, the Kleber Dynaxer HP4 leads in overall performance. It presents a more balanced profile, especially in terms of comfort, exterior noise, and efficiency, despite slight room for improvement in wet conditions handling. On the other side, the Sava Intensa HP2’s strength lies in its lightness and efficiency, yet it faces multiple challenges from safety to environmental impact. Ultimately, these test results provide a basis for consumers to choose the right tyre based on their individual needs and priorities.
