Comparison: Sava Intensa HP2 vs. Firestone Roadhawk vs. Kleber Dynaxer HP4 vs. Michelin Primacy 4+ vs. Goodyear Efficient Grip Performance 2

In the world of automobile tyres, the Sava Intensa HP2 and the Firestone Roadhawk are considered by many vehicle owners. Understanding the strengths and weaknesses of each tyre can help you in the decision-making process.

Firstly, let's look at the Sava Intensa HP2, a summer tyre from Sava, which we have rated at 67%. This model builds on its predecessor, the Intensa HP, yet there is no identified newer model that replaces the Intensa HP2 as of yet. Out of 53 tyres tested by Autobild, it came in a disappointing 22nd position - something worth taking into consideration.

On balance, data shows that the Sava Intensa HP2 is efficient and light. Despite these positives, certain drawbacks, such as a lack of balance, weaknesses in driving safety, and performance on both dry and wet roads, meant it could not secure a higher position in tests. Further to this, it also showed weaknesses in its environmental impact, as well as slight weaknesses in mileage and wear and tear.

On the other hand, the Firestone Roadhawk is a product of world-renowned manufacturer Firestone. Our rating for this summer tyre is 59%. According to Autobild tests, out of 53 tyres, the Roadhawk secured an impressive 10th position, due partly to its standout features - dry handling, wet handling, and wet side guiding.

Its strengths include good dry road performance, being lightweight and efficient, and having minimal tyre wear. However, subpar balance and weaknesses on wet roads contributed to downgrading. Other negative aspects pointed out by autobild 2023 include issues in longevity.

Interestingly, in ADAC tests involving 18 tyres, the Firestone Roadhawk and Sava Intensa HP2 secured very close positions - 11th and 12th respectively, indicating a neck-to-neck competition between the two.

In summary, while both tyres have their strengths, the Firestone Roadhawk’s strong performance in dry handling and efficiency seems to slightly outweigh the Sava Intensa HP2's commendable lightness and efficiency features. Looking at their respective rankings in multiple tests, Firestone Roadhawk tends to consistently fare better. That being said, your final choice between these two should also consider your specific needs and preferences.
