The Kumho Ecsta HS51 made in China, is a notable product from Kumho, performing exceptionally in aquaplaning scenarios – both cross and longitudinal. Also, it excels in wet handling and side guiding, including wet circle cornering. According to multiple tests, these features make it a reliable choice especially in rainy conditions. It also earns points for its price/value ratio, fuel efficiency, and low exterior noise. However, this model has been replaced by the Kumho Ecsta HS52.
On the other hand, the Goodyear Efficient Grip Performance 2 emerged from Goodyear, being an improved version of its predecessor. It particularly stands out for its exceptional mileage, comfort, and price/value ratio. However, it does fall behind the Kumho Ecsta HS51 in terms of aquaplaning performance.
