Comparison: Kleber Dynaxer HP4 vs. Fulda EcoControl HP2 vs. Goodyear Efficient Grip Performance 2 vs. Michelin e.Primacy vs. GoodYear Efficientgrip Performance 2

Here, we have compared two summer tyres: Kleber Dynaxer HP4 from Kleber, and Fulda EcoControl HP2 from Fulda. Our aim is providing a verdict on their strengths and weaknesses based on their performance in various tyre tests. The Kleber Dynaxer HP4 showed an overall better performance in the tests, scoring 76% on our tests while the Fulda EcoControl HP2 scored 71%.

The Kleber Dynaxer HP4 tyre excelled in terms of comfort and exterior noise according to the Autobild test, earning it the 14th position out of 53 tyres. However, in the autobild 2024, the Kleber Dynaxer showed weaknesses on wet road surfaces. Despite this, factors such as its good environmental impact, running performance, and efficiency were positively mentioned. These trends continued into the autobild 2022 test where its short braking distances on dry and wet roads, riding comfort, and quiet rolling noise were noted alongside its weak grip on wet roads and delayed steering response. Remarkably, it took the first place in the GTÜ test out of eight tyres.

On the other hand, considering the performance of the Fulda EcoControl HP2, its best feature was exterior noise supression according to the Autobild. Placing 20th out of 53 tyres, it also demonstrated good aquaplaning qualities. However, just like the Kleber Dynaxer, weaknesses on wet roads were noted in the autobild 2024 test while its good running performance and efficiency were praised. In the GTÜ test, it ranked 4th out of eight tyres.

In previous iterations, the Fulda EcoControl HP was replaced by the Fulda EcoControl HP2. However, there are no newer models to replace either the Kleber Dynaxer HP4 or the Fulda EcoControl HP2 as of now.

To summarize, both the Kleber Dynaxer HP4 and Fulda EcoControl HP2 demonstrated solid performance in our tests. Although both struggled with wet road conditions, they scored well in comfort, noise suppression, and efficiency. As such, your choice between the two may be influenced by your preferences and requirements.
