Comparison: Hankook Kinergy 4S2 H750 vs. Firestone Multiseason 2 vs. GoodYear Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 vs. Michelin CrossClimate 2

3 mutual test(s) with detailed data

Our comparison focuses on two popular all-weather tyres: the Hankook Kinergy 4S2 H750 and the Firestone Multiseason 2. Both tyres were produced by renowned manufacturers - Hankook and Firestone respectively.

The Hankook Kinergy 4S2 H750 is a successor to the Hankook Kinergy 4S and is made in Korea. Impressively, it achieved an 89% rating in our tests. This tyre, according to test results, is praised for 'precise and secure characteristics on dry road, high mileage projection and low fuel consumption', but was criticized for minor weaknesses on wet and winter roads. The tyre performed well in ADAC and Autobild tests, achieving the 3rd position in both. Although, some tests pointed out that it has poor aquaplaning resistance and average snow performance.

On the other hand, the Firestone Multiseason 2 is made in Italy. It scored only 60% in our tests and was generally found to be 'weak on dry road with minor weaknesses on wet road and snow'. In the ADAC and Autobild test, it secured 8th and 6th positions respectively. This tyre's strengths lie in a good performance on wet roads and excellent snow grip. However, it was criticized for extended dry braking and slightly below-average comfort.

To summarize, the Hankook Kinergy 4S2 H750 appears to outperform the Firestone Multiseason 2 in overall tests. It’s particularly strong in dry conditions, whereas the Firestone Multiseason 2 performs better on snow. However, the Firestone Multiseason 2 is considered to provide less comfort with longer dry braking duration as compared to the Hankook Kinergy 4S2 H750.

If you’re choosing between these two models, consider the prevalent weather conditions and terrain in your region. For all-round performance with a bias towards dry conditions, the Hankook Kinergy 4S2 H750 has a slight edge. But if you’re looking for better snow performance, the Firestone Multiseason 2 would be a better choice.
