Comparison: Gt Radial Fe2 vs. Michelin Primacy 4+ vs. Goodyear Efficient Grip Performance 2 vs. Falken e.Ziex vs. Goodyear Efficientgrip 2 SUV vs. GoodYear Efficientgrip Performance 2

The comparison of two well-performing tyres, the Gt Radial Fe2 and Michelin Primacy 4+ is both interesting and revealing. With a legacy of excellent performance and durability, both tyres have a lot to offer.

The Gt Radial Fe2, from the manufacturer, is a UHP tyre renowned for its safe aquaplaning qualities, shorter braking distances on dry roads and its economical pricing. Its performance in tests has been reasonably favourable, securing 19th position out of 55 tyres tested by Autobild, and 22nd position in the ADAC testing of 50 tyres. However, this tyre comes with its own shortcomings. As reported in ADAC’s tests, the Gt Radial Fe2 exhibits average grip on both wet and dry roads. Also, in the Autobild 2024 assessment, it showed notable weaknesses on wet surfaces and in terms of environmental sustainability, with a relatively low lifespan attracting a downgrade.

On the contrary, Michelin, the manufacturer of Primacy 4+, has fostered continuous advancement in their tyres. With its previous models like Michelin Primacy 4 and Michelin Primacy 3, the company has produced its latest iteration, Michelin Primacy 4+. It boasts a remarkable 77% rating from the in-house. It is a touring, summer tyre that performs impressively well whether on dry or wet roads, as seen in Autobild’s 2024 test results. This tyre scored high on environmental efficiency and displayed a significantly high lifespan, which earned it the top score. Additionally, it has achieved an enviable 3rd position out of 50 tyres tested by ADAC and 5th place in the Autobild tyre test out of 55 tyres. Remarkably, it did not exhibit any significant weaknesses in any of the tests.

In summary, it is evident that the Michelin Primacy 4+ outperforms the Gt Radial Fe2 in the majority of tests, making it a better option amongst the two. This tyre has not only better performance and safety under varying road conditions, but also upholds a commendable environmental footprint and promises a longer lifespan.
