Comparison: Gt Radial Fe2 vs. Kleber Dynaxer HP4 vs. Michelin Primacy 5

Let's start by comparing two distinct tyres, the Gt Radial Fe2 and the Kleber Dynaxer HP4. Neither of these tyres have replaced any previous models, hence they are unique offerings from their respective manufacturers.

The Gt Radial Fe2 is a UHP type tyre, unfortunately we do not have an assigned rating for this tyre. Based on Autobild test results, the Gt Radial Fe2 shows secure aquaplaning properties, coupled with shorter dry braking distances. Despite its strong performance, it has average grip on both wet and dry tracks (Durchschnittlicher Grip auf nasser und trockener Piste). In the recent 2024 Autobild testing, its performance on dry roads and efficiency were appreciated but it's not well-balanced, showing weaknesses on wet roads. Its low sustainability score and short lifespan were also marked as areas of concern.

On the other hand, the Kleber Dynaxer HP4 is a summer tyre, which got a solid 76% rating from our team. It secured the 12th position in both Autobild and ADAC tests, outranking the Gt Radial Fe2. Noteworthy features of this tyre are its comfort and low exterior noise. The Autobild 2022 test emphasizes its good aquaplaning properties, short wet and dry braking distance and comfortable, quiet ride. The negatives mentioned for the Dynaxer HP4 include slightly underwhelming grip on wet surfaces and a noticeably delayed steering response. Yet, in Autobild 2024, this tyre did well with its environmental balance, mileage, wear and efficiency but still pointed out as it's not quite balanced with some issues on wet surfaces.

In conclusion, the Kleber Dynaxer HP4 seems to outperform the Gt Radial Fe2 in several aspects, particularly in comfort, noise level, and being more efficient. Both tyres however, struggle with wet road performance and need to improve in grip and overall balance. In head-to-head comparison tests, the Kleber tyre consistently ranked higher than the Gt Radial, making it the recommended choice between the two.
