Looking at a recent test by Autobild, the Firestone Roadhawk excelled in dry and wet handling and had a respectable performance in wet side guidance. The tyre excelled in dry handling and wet handling and fended well in the wet side guide. However, it had a weakness in wet surface performance, specifically in terms of control and grip. The ADAC test further put these two filters to the test. Here the Firestone Roadhawk succeeded in dry braking and wet circle cornering but it struggled with handling on wet surfaces, making it the loudest tyre in the test. Overall, it came in 9th position among 16 tyres tested.
The Goodyear Efficient Grip Performance 2, on the other hand, outperformed all tires in the ADAC test, coming in first place. Additionall, it was found to have excellent handling, short braking distances and high mileage according to Autobild 2022.
