Comparison: Firestone Roadhawk vs. Barum Bravuris 5 HM vs. Hankook Ventus Prime3 K125 vs. Pirelli P ZERO PZ4 vs. Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6

When comparing two summer tyres, the Firestone Roadhawk and the Barum Bravuris 5 HM, clear differences and similarities emerge. Both models, manufactured by Firestone and Barum respectively, have their strengths and weaknesses.

Firestone's Roadhawk is rated 59% on our website. It stands out best in ADAC's and Autobild's tests for its dry handling, wet handling, and wet side guide. Moreover, ADAC highlights its efficiency and light weight, praising its performance on dry roads, but notes its weakness on wet roads and running performance. Autobild further commends its low fuel consumption, but criticizes its poor performance on dry roads, slightly increased wear, and quite weak performance on wet surfaces.

In the same tests, Barum's Bravuris 5 HM scored lower with a rating of 39%. In the ADAC test, it ranks higher than the Roadhawk, clinching the 15th place out of 17 tested tyres. However, it is placed at a lower 42nd position out of 50 in the Autobild test. Details about its strengths or weaknesses, as well as a detailed report from Autobild are unfortunately not available.

Comparing both tyres, the Firestone Roadhawk outperforms overall in our ratings and in Autobild's test. Considering its strengths in handling and fuel efficiency, it seems to be the better choice for a summer tyre, provided drivers are conscious of its performance limits on wet roads.

The Barum Bravuris 5 HM, on the other hand, while not performing as strong overall, managed to claim a better position in the ADAC test. However, in absence of detailed reviews, it's difficult to thoroughly compare its performance with the Roadhawk.

As of now, neither the Roadhawk nor the Bravuris 5 HM appears to have been replaced by a newer model. This analysis is based on the current versions of each tyre, as detailed on our website.

In summary, while both tyres have their merits, the Firestone Roadhawk generally outperforms the Barum Bravuris 5 HM in our ratings and test results. They both serve as reliable choices for summer tyres with respective focused attributes.
