Comparison: Semperit Speed-Life 3 vs. Sava Intensa UHP 2 vs. Firestone Roadhawk vs. Yokohama Advan Sport V107 vs. Barum Bravuris 5 HM vs. Semperit Speed-Life vs. Pirelli P ZERO PZ4

When comparing the Semperit Speed-Life 3 and the Sava Intensa UHP 2, both being summer tyres, several common and differing features need to be taken into account.

The Semperit Speed-Life 3, produced by Semperit, has received a rating of 47% from our side. Standing out for its impressive mileage and wet braking ability, it had a strong performance in the ADAC test securing the 10th position out of 17 tyres. However, weaknesses were revealed in its performance on dry roads. The Speed-Life 3 came out 43rd in the Autobild test of 51 tyres. It should however be noted that it has been improved upon its previous model with no newer tyre model replacing it yet.

On the other hand, Sava Intensa UHP 2, from the house of Sava, took a better position with an overall rating of 67%. Its strengths lay in its noise reduction, excellent safety reserves at aquaplaning, stable dry performances, and short wet and dry braking distances. Most importantly, it outperformed Speed-Life 3 in the Autobild and ADAC tests, securing the 15th and 12th positions respectively. This tyre model did show minor weaknesses with an increased wear rate and poorer performance on wet roads. It should not be overlooked that this tyre is nevertheless an improved version of the Sava Intensa UHP without any newer model replacing it currently.

Eleven places ahead of Speed-Life 3 in the Autobild test and two places ahead in the ADAC test, it is pretty clear that the Intensa UHP 2 is the better performer when you consider the overall test results. While the Intensa UHP 2 has the edge in the tests with a more balanced overall performance, the Speed-Life 3 still holds value in areas like mileage and wet braking performance.

In conclusion, if one is looking for a tyre with better noise reduction and all-round performance, the Sava Intensa UHP 2 would be an ideal choice. However, if mileage and wet braking are your top priority, you might prefer the Semperit Speed-Life 3. Both tyres have their specific strengths and weaknesses, and the final decision should be made based on individual requirement and performance expectations.
