The Semperit Speed-Life 3 comes from a line of highly rated tyres. It replaces the Semperit Speed-Life and enhances several key features. However, it scored lower in our ratings at 47%. Despite its impressive features such as handling on wet surfaces, high projected lifespan, low wear, and good efficiency, it didn’t perform as well on dry surfaces. For instance, in the Autobild test, it ranked 43rd out of 51 tyres. In the ADAC test, it took the 19th position among 50 tyres. A 10th position out of 19 was achieved in the Autoklub test. The tyre's strengths lie in good handling on wet surfaces, high projected wear and good efficiency. Although, its major drawback is in dry driving conditions where the tyre didn’t deliver as expected. Visit this link to view more about Semperit Speed-Life 3's manufacturer.

On the other hand, the Kumho Ecsta HS52, which replaced the Kumho Ecsta HS51, has a better performance with a rating of 73%. This tyre stands out in braking, handling, and value for money in dry conditions. It also accomplishes remarkable wet braking and wet circle cornering. However, the tyre slightly lacks in comfort and efficiency. The Ecsta HS52 placed third in the Autobild test, amongst 51 tyres tested. In the ADAC test it ranked 8th out of 50 and in the Autoklub it placed 13th out of 19. The tyre's major strengths are in good dry and wet performance, great braking distances, and good value for money. On the downside, the tyre is slightly lacking in comfort and has a reduced efficiency rate. Visit this link to view more about Kumho Ecsta HS52's manufacturer.

Overall, in comparing the Semperit Speed-Life 3 to the Kumho Ecsta HS52, the latter seems to perform better in terms of overall testing and consumer rating. However, both tyres have their strengths and weaknesses and the final decision should be based on individual driver’s needs and preferences.
