Comparison: Sava Intensa HP2 vs. Continental PremiumContact 6 vs. Kumho Ecsta HS52

We have gathered crucial information from the tests of two summer tyres: the Sava Intensa HP2 and the Continental PremiumContact 6. Both tyres perform differently in terrain handling, efficiency, and overall performance.

The Sava Intensa HP2, successor of Sava Intensa HP, has a 65% rating from our tests. According to the results from ADAC's test where 18 tyres were considered, it held its ground at the 12th position. Further test summaries revealed that the tyre was recognised for its efficiency but fell short with some weaknesses in driving safety and performance on both wet and dry surfaces. It was noted for having a slight lack in tread-wear(abrasion) and having an adverse environmental footprint.

On the other hand, the Continental PremiumContact 6, which replaced Continental ContiPremiumContact 5 and will soon be superseded by Continental PremiumContact 7, received a remarkable 78% rating from us. It fared exceptionally well in tests, securing the 1st position among 18 tyres tested by ADAC and the 4th position in Autobild's test out of 53 tyres. The tyre's best feature, as observed in Autobild's test, is its wet braking ability, offering superior grip and stopping power on wet surfaces.

Continental had noted strengths such as well-balanced handling, high safety in driving, and noteworthy performance on both dry and wet surfaces. It also showed high mileage, a crucial aspect for durability. However, it displayed a weakness in efficiency.

In comparison, Continental tyres seem to edge out in terms of overall performance and ratings but Sava Intensa HP2 with its efficiency and lightweight still presents stiff competition.

All in all, data from all the tests suggest that Continental PremiumContact 6 offers a well-rounded performance that excels in more areas, manifested in the tests results, thus making it an excellent choice for summer tyres. However, the Sava Intensa HP2 still holds considerable advantages, especially if efficiency and weight are highest on your priority list.
