Overall, Autobild tests reveal the Michelin tyre was second while Pirelli settled for a 5th place out of 11 in total. In Autobild's 2025 test review, the Pirelli SCORPION was praised for its top performance in tough terrain, dynamic and safe braking, remarkably low noise, and decreased rolling resistance. Unfortunately, it portrayed minor weaknesses on dry road conditions. On the other hand, Michelin Pilot Sport 4 SUV exhibited awesome handling behavior with short braking distance on asphalt and commendable aquaplaning reserves. However, it presented somewhat ordinary sand traction.

Autobild's 2024 review acknowledged the Pirelli's exceptional grass and mud traction, short dry braking, and amazing comfort on uneven surfaces. Negatively though, the tyre had slight unstable handling on dry roads. The Michelin tyre on the other hand, demonstrated impressive high performance with robust aquaplaning safety reserves, short wet and dry braking distances - though it struggled a bit with sand traction.

To sum up, the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 SUV stood out as a strong, reliable tire that demonstrated high performance, safety and short braking distances both on wet and dry conditions. In comparison, the Pirelli SCORPION excels on tough terrains, and appeared to be quieter with less rolling resistance. Therefore, your choice between the two will ultimately depend on whether you prioritize general high performance, or quietness and off-road capabilities.
