It shines in terms of comfort, which was particularly praised in tests conducted by Autozeitung. Despite ranking at differing positions in mutual tests, its best position was 4th according to Autozeitung, showcasing its consistent and balanced performance.


On the other hand, the Continental PremiumContact 6, crafted by Continental, is a summer tyre predominantly made for touring. It stands out for its strengths in wet braking, and wet handling, earning it the top position in the Continental PremiumContact range. This particular tyre even upgraded from Continental PremiumContact 5 and has now been further improved and replaced by Continental PremiumContact 7. With a stellar rating of 83% in our tests, its superiority was evident given it ranked first in ADAC and Autozeitung tests and third in the ACE test.


In terms of overall performance, while the Pirelli Cinturato P7 offers commendable features like exceptional dry braking, reduced noise, and comfort, the Continental PremiumContact 6 outshines in more categories such as dry and wet braking, dry driving behaviour, dry and wet handling, and overall comfort and safety. This makes the latter a stronger candidate in these comparative test results.


In conclusion, both tyres offer excellent performance with their unique strengths, yet the Continental PremiumContact 6 tends to outperform the Pirelli Cinturato P7 in terms of overall functionality and performance in both dry and wet conditions.
