Pirelli Cinturato P7 C2, is the successor to the Pirelli P7 Cinturato, and it boasts of an overall rating of 86% in our tests, securing it as a proven and reliable option. This touring tyre has made impressive marks on our test list, particularly standing out for its dry braking. As per Autozeitung's tests, the P7 C2 grabbed the 2nd position out of 9, mainly because of its excellent dry braking. In comparison, the P7 C2 also secured 2nd place in Autobild's test with distinctive remarks for its wet braking. Hence, it's safe to say that this tyre performs remarkably well on both wet and dry surfaces.



On the other hand, we have the Maxxis Premitra HP5, which holds a decent score of 69% in our tests. The Autozeitung test placed the HP5 at the 8th position out of the total 9 tyres tested, showing significant strengths in Aquaplaning - cross. Subsequently, this tyre also managed the 9th position out of 53 in the Autobild test, with the same top feature - Aquaplaning - cross.


After analyzing the complete test data, it's evident that the Pirelli Cinturato P7 C2 outperforms Maxxis Premitra HP5, regarding its position in tests and its performance on both wet and dry surfaces. The P7 C2 performs exceptionally well in dry as well as wet braking, providing complete safety and control. On the other hand, the Maxxis Premitra HP5 has shown excellent resistance against aquaplaning.
