Comparison: Pirelli Cinturato P7 C2 vs. Debica Presto HP2 vs. Michelin Primacy 4+

Today, we are comparing two different tyres: the Pirelli Cinturato P7 C2 and the Debica Presto HP2.

On one hand, we have Pirelli, a renowned and global brand, known for its high quality and performance tyres. The Pirelli Cinturato P7 C2, a summer tyre, has a rating of 89% on our website. This tyre's strengths lie particularly in its good performance on dry pavement and even in its tread life and efficiency. However, it has some room for improvement as it shows some unevenness and has weaknesses in wet conditions and tread wear. It placed 2nd in the Autobild test and 17th in the ADAC test out of 50 tyres tested. The Pirelli Cinturato P7 C2 has been replaced by a newer model, the Pirelli Cinturato (C3), if you're interested in an updated version.

On the other hand, Debica is a lesser-known brand but has their strengths in other areas. The Debica Presto HP2, also a summer tyre, earned a 70% rating on our site. It has good environmental performance, tread life, tread wear and fuel efficiency. However, it isn’t quite as well-rounded, displaying weaknesses in safety whilst driving. In terms of test positions, the Debica Presto HP2 outperformed the Pirelli tyre in the ADAC test, coming in at 15th place, but was further down the chart in the Autobild test, situating at 16th place out of 53 tyres tested. Unlike Pirelli, there is no newer model tyre that has replaced this Debica Presto HP2.

To sum up, while the Pirelli Cinturato P7 C2 comes from a globally renowned brand and is slightly higher rated, the Debica Presto HP2 is not far behind. However, if wet surface performance and tread wear are your main concerns, the Pirelli might be the better choice, but if environmental performance and cost efficiency are your priorities, the Debica Presto HP2 may be more to your liking.
