Ranked first in both the Autozeitung and Autoklub tests, this tyre is heralded for its high safety standards in wet conditions and exceptional braking in both, wet and dry situations.

While both tyres display excellent performance, some differences can be observed. For instance, the Pirelli model won some favor for its stable handling under wet and dry conditions, good comfort levels, and reduced rolling resistance according to Autobild's 2024 test summary. However, it also came under criticism for slightly longer dry braking distances and a higher price level.

On the other hand, the Continental participated in the same test and showed exceptional handling, precise steering, excellent aquaplaning safety reserves, and both short dry and wet braking distances. Nevertheless, it too was criticized for its high price point.
