The Continental PremiumContact 7, part of the long-standing PremiumContact family, has a strikingly better performance in comparison. This tyre took the 1st position in multiple tests including Autobild, Vibilagare, ACE, and Automotorsport. It is particularly notable for its aquaplaning resistance, wet/dry braking, handling, and rolling resistance. This tyre is rated at 99% on our ratings chart and reflects superior wet and dry performance. As of now, Continental has not released a successor to this model.


Overall, in terms of test positions, the Continental Premiumcontact 7 ranks higher. As for the strengths, the Michelin Primacy 4+ stands out for comfort and noise, while Premiumcontact 7 excels in handling and braking, both in wet and dry conditions. In terms of weaknesses, the Michelin Primacy 4+ is found to have sluggish dry handling but the Continental Premiumcontact 7 has increased external noise and average rolling resistance. While both tyres exhibit commendable features, the Continental Premiumcontact 7 outranks the Michelin Primacy 4+ based on the test comparison.
