Comparison: Michelin CrossClimate+ vs. Vredestein Quatrac Pro vs. Continental AllSeasonContact vs. Nexen N Blue 4 Season vs. Falken EuroALL Season AS210

Today, we are comparing two all-around tyres: the Michelin CrossClimate+ and the Vredestein Quatrac Pro. Produced by Michelin and Vredestein respectively, these tyres are known for their high performance and versatility. However, there are notable differences between the two, as shown in a number of tests.

Michelin CrossClimate+

The Michelin CrossClimate+ scored an impressive 71% in our ratings. Excellent on dry handling and braking, this tyre particularly excels in snow handling and mileage. In the ADAC test, it ranked 3rd out of 7, and 2nd in the Autobild test amongst a field of 31 tyres. Its major strengths include Dry braking, Dry handling, Mileage, and Snow handling.

Vredestein Quatrac Pro

On the other hand, the Vredestein Quatrac Pro, manufactured in Hungary, scored 61% in our ratings. Quieter than its competitor, it's the tyre to choose if you value interior silence. However, the Quatrac Pro fell a bit short in handling and braking on dry surfaces and performed particularly poorly in snowy conditions. In the ADAC test, it took the 6th position out of 7, but performed better in the Autobild test with the 3rd position amongst 31 tyres. Some of the tyre's top features are Noise reduction, Snow traction, Wet braking, and Wet circle cornering.

Verdict

Overall, if you are looking for a high-performing tyre with strong mileage and excellent capabilities during dry and snowy conditions, choose the Michelin CrossClimate+. However, if noise reduction is your top priority and you mostly drive in wet conditions, the Vredestein Quatrac Pro might be the better choice. Keep in mind, however, that its overall performance falls below that of the CrossClimate+.
