Comparison: Maxxis Premitra Snow WP6 vs. Kumho WinterCraft WP52+

In this comparison, we are comparing a tyre from a manufacturer from Taiwan (Maxxis) against a tyre from a manufacturer from South Korea (Kumho). Generally, Kumho winter tyres are slightly better rated (63%) than Maxxis (26%). In this particular case, the Kumho WinterCraft WP52+ has a better rating of 87% compared to 26% of the Maxxis Premitra Snow WP6. The first tyre test of Maxxis Premitra Snow WP6 was done in 2020, compared to 2025 when was the Kumho WinterCraft WP52+ first tested. Important for this comparison is also the Autobild 2025 225/40 R18 test, where both the Premitra Snow WP6 and the WinterCraft WP52+ were tested.
