In this comparison, we are comparing a tyre from a manufacturer from Taiwan (
Maxxis) against a tyre from a manufacturer from Singapore (
GT). Generally,
GT winter tyres are slightly better rated (50%) than
Maxxis (26%). In this particular case, the GT RADIAL ClimateActive has a better rating of 83% compared to 26% of the Maxxis Premitra Snow WP6. The first tyre test of Maxxis Premitra Snow WP6 was done in 2020, compared to 2024 when was the GT RADIAL ClimateActive first tested.
