In this comparison, we are comparing a tyre from a manufacturer from Taiwan (
Maxxis) against a tyre from a manufacturer from Japan (
Falken). Generally,
Falken winter tyres are slightly better rated (58%) than
Maxxis (26%). In this particular case, the Falken e.Ziex has a better rating of 90% compared to 26% of the Maxxis Premitra Snow WP6. The first tyre test of Maxxis Premitra Snow WP6 was done in 2020, compared to 2023 when was the Falken e.Ziex first tested.
