In this comparison, we are comparing a tyre from a manufacturer from Taiwan (
Maxxis) against a tyre from a manufacturer from China (
Linglong). Generally,
Maxxis summer tyres are slightly better rated (58%) than
Linglong (56%). In this particular case, the Linglong Sport Master has a better rating of 71% compared to 54% of the Maxxis Premitra HP6. The first tyre test of Maxxis Premitra HP6 was done in 2026, compared to 2023 when was the Linglong Sport Master first tested. Important for this comparison is also the
ADAC 2026 225/50 R17 test, where both the
Premitra HP6 and the
Sport Master were tested.
