In this comparison, we are comparing a tyre from a manufacturer from Taiwan (
Maxxis) against a tyre from a manufacturer from USA (
GoodYear). Generally,
GoodYear summer tyres are slightly better rated (75%) than
Maxxis (58%). In this particular case, the GoodYear Efficientgrip Performance 2 has a better rating of 85% compared to 54% of the Maxxis Premitra HP6. The first tyre test of Maxxis Premitra HP6 was done in 2026, compared to 2025 when was the GoodYear Efficientgrip Performance 2 first tested. Important for this comparison is also the
