With a rank of 17 among a total of 53 tested tyres, the Toyo Proxes Comfort offers dynamic wet and dry handling, short braking distances, and a moderate price level. It's quiet rolling noise is another plus, however, a downside would be it's relatively low mileage.

Comparatively, the Maxxis Premitra HP5 seems to claim a better position in mutual tests. Yet, these two tyres cater to different demands. For drivers who prioritise safety in wet conditions, the Maxxis's strength in "Aquaplaning" - an essential factor for performance in rain - would be the ideal choice. However, for those who are looking for a tyre with solid dry performance and comfort, and who are less concerned about mileage, the Toyo Proxes Comfort could be the preferred option.

Both the Maxxis Premitra HP5 and the Toyo Proxes Comfort are currently available with no newer tyre models replacing them.
