In this comparison, we will examine two allround tyres – the Kleber Quadraxer 2 and the Hankook Kinergy 4S2 H750 – looking at their strengths, weaknesses, and overall performance.

The Kleber Quadraxer 2, made in Poland by Kleber, performs exceptionally well in snow, with a high resistance to aquaplaning and low internal noise. However, it does have some drawbacks. This tyre has less grip in wet and dry conditions, with slower handling and longer braking distances. It also has a higher rolling resistance. On the other hand, the Hankook Kinergy 4S2 H750, manufactured in Korea by Hankook, excels in wet areas. It has excellent aquaplaning resistance, exceptionally short wet braking, strong grip on all surfaces, and minimum noise. However, like the Kleber Quadraxer 2, it does have high rolling resistance. This tyre has not been replaced and builds on the success of its predecessor, the Hankook Kinergy 4S.

Both tyres were tested by Autobild, and according to their data, the Hankook Kinergy 4S2 H750 outperforms the Kleber Quadraxer 2. In a total field of 27 tyres, the Hankook model secured the 4th position, showing strengths in wet handling, snow handling, and cross and longitudinal aquaplaning. The Kleber model came at 11th place, with strengths mainly in snow conditions and exterior noise.

From the given data, it is safe to conclude that the Hankook Kinergy 4S2 H750 is the better tyre overall, with outstanding performance in various conditions and a leading position in mutual tests. However, the Kleber Quadraxer 2 can still be an excellent choice for those prioritizing snow performance and a quiet ride.
