The Hankook Ventus S1 evo3 K127, developed in South Korea, achieves our rating at 74%. As an UUHP (Ultra-Ultra High Performance) tyre, it's an option fitted to such vehicles as the Audi Q8, Audi SQ8, Porsche Cayenne, and BMW X3. Primarily known for its striking performance in both wet and dry braking, it surpassed many other tyres in the Autobild test, acquiring the first position out of 50. A highlight in its performance is an agile handling characteristic that enhances the driving experience. However, it did have a shortfall in terms of average tread life, which somewhat affects its rating.
On the other hand, the Linglong Sport Master gets a rating of 64% in our tests. It's an UHP (Ultra High Performance) tyre that notably stands out for its exterior noise, managing to claim 7th position in the Autobild test out of 50 tyres. This tyre offers short braking distances on both wet and dry conditions, a silent ride and, additionally, comes at an attractive price. Despite these advantages, the tyre is found to have a very low tread life and underwhelming dry handling which might affect its overall performance and comfort.
From the Autobild 2023 summary, it's clear that while the Hankook Ventus S1 evo3 K127 provides impressive driving performances and handling abilities, its treadwear led to reduced scoring. The Linglong Sport Master, while offering short braking distances and a quiet ride, got lower scores due to its low tread life and poorer dry handling.
Conclusively, the Hankook Ventus S1 evo3 K127 performs superiorly overall according to our evaluation and test results, particularly in handling and braking capabilities.
