Comparison: Hankook Ventus Prime3 K125 vs. Falken Azenis FK510 vs. Bridgestone Turanza T001 vs. Uniroyal RainSport 3 vs. Dunlop SP Sport MAXX RT2 vs. Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3

In this review, we will be comparing two popular summer tyres: the Hankook Ventus Prime3 K125 and the Falken Azenis FK510. Both have been tested extensively in various categories with quite favorable results. However, each tyre seems to excel in different areas, providing potential buyers with a choice based on what suits their specific needs the best.

Let's first look at the Hankook Ventus Prime3 K125. Manufactured in Hungary, this model stands out with a rating of 52% in our tests. Its main strengths are its low exterior noise, which was highlighted in the Autozeitung test where it managed to secure the 5th position out of 6 tyres. In the same test, the tyre performed relatively well. However, this model is no longer produced and has been replaced by the Hankook Ventus Prime 4. Thus, users seeking up-to-date design and technology should keep an eye on this newer model.

Next, we examine the Falken Azenis FK510. This tyre made in Japan and Turkey earned a rating of 58% in our tests. Autozeitung placed it in the 3rd position emphasizing its excellent performance in wet circle cornering. Another highlight of this tyre is its ability to handle a vast range of temperatures due to its summer type nature. It's worth noting that Falken has produced a new model called Falken Azenis FK520 which has replaced the FK510.

In the Autobild test, the Hankook Ventus Prime3 K125 secured the 2nd position among 52 tyres, outperforming the Falken Azenis FK510 which secured the 3rd position. This clearly exhibits the considerable advancements Hankook made in their tyre design.

In conclusion, considering the test results, ratings and the specific strengths of each tyre, the Hankook Ventus Prime3 K125 seems to offer a more comfortable and quiet ride mainly due to its low exterior noise. Meanwhile, the Falken Azenis FK510 excels more in terms of overall performance combining both safety and control, especially in wet conditions. However, the latest models, Hankook Ventus Prime4 and Falken Azenis FK520 should also be considered for their updated features and potential improvements. Visit Falken for more details.

In a nutshell, both tyres offer unique advantages. Your final choice should align with your car's specifications, driving style and the road conditions you frequently encounter.
