The purpose of this review is to compare two summer tyres - the Hankook Ventus Prime3 K125 and the BFGoodrich Advantage. These two variants are products of two reputable manufacturers known for their sports and performance offerings. The Hankook Ventus Prime3 K125, manufactured in Hungary, is recognised as the original equipment for the Citroën C3 Aircross. The BFGoodrich Advantage's details regarding origin and first equipment remain undisclosed.


The Hankook Ventus Prime3 K125, which has been replaced by the Hankook Ventus Prime 4, received an overall rating of 72% from our test review. On the other hand, the BFGoodrich Advantage tyre model attained a higher score of 76% from our expert reviewers.


Test results from Autobild and ADAC reveal some strengths and weaknesses for both tyres. Out of the 53 tyres tested by Autobild, the Hankook Ventus Prime3 K125 dominated the test, holding the first position. Its superiority surfaced in dry braking, dry handling and wet braking. The BFGoodrich Advantage, however, put up a decent performance ranking 18th and showcasing its strength in dry handling.


ADAC‘s test hosted fewer tyres, a total of 15, with the Hankook Ventus Prime3 K125 ranking 7th and the BFGoodrich Advantage coming in at the 9th position. The Hankook model shone in the wet circle cornering test, whereas the BFGoodrich model impressed in fuel efficiency.

In comparing these two tires, the Hankook Ventus Prime3 K125 appears to outshine the BFGoodrich Advantage in overall performance tests. However, individual preferences regarding specific qualities like dry handling, wet braking or fuel efficiency should guide the selection.
